Where we came from

A group of Christians with a vision and purpose began meeting in the basement at the home of Deacons Nathaniel and Annette Seton.  The reason of this meeting was for worship and to share the word of God. As this group grew, the vision was realized that a church was forming.

As we contemplated on a name, Hebrew 12: 18-24 came to mind, specifically verses 22-24: “But ye are come unto Mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect…”

Our attendance grew, prompting us to look for a bigger place of worship.  Our first stop was the New Hope Arena where we had service from March 23, 2008, until June.  We then moved to our current place of worship, 2315 24th Ave. N. Minneapolis, MN, 55411 where we’ve been since June 29, 2008.
